2016 Honda CBR150R fully faired sportsbike with a sportier and attractive new design has been launched today in Indonesia at the hands of Honda MotoGP Racing Team (Repsol Honda) riders Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez. The price of new Honda CBR150R starts from IDR 32.5 million (INR 1.65 lakh) while top end variant with Repsol Honda MotoGP livery costs (INR 1.30 – 1.65 lakh – INR 1.68 lakh).

Aimed at the Yamaha R15 Ver 2.0, which is priced at (INR 1.45 lakh), 2016 Honda CBR150R is powered by the same 150 cc engine which powers the existing CBR150R but refined to deliver a better performance. This fuel injected engine is rated at 18.28 bhp and 12.66 Nm of torque via a 6-speed manual transmission.

Honda says that this is not a mere facelift, in fact, it is a completely new bike. Toshiyuki Inuma, President Director, Honda Indonesia, 2016 CBR150R now has a lighter chassis, with centralized engine weight. This helps in better riding dynamics, handling and maneuverability. Apart from this, other changes include rear swing-arm now longer by 13 mm, making the rear split seat taller, and in turn giving the entire bike a sportier look.

Featuring a completely new design, highlights include full LED headlights, fully digital instrument control, sportier rider seating, footpegs position changed for better riding stance, new exhaust system, LED side indicators, etc.
